Hey! I’m Anna, the older one of us. I’m a radiology tech at an outpatient surgery center about an hour and a half away from the ranch. I have truly always loved the ranch and growing up in agriculture, if I’m not working you can often find me back home helping with whatever is going on on the weekends.

I’ll find any excuse to bake to give away or take somewhere. I will be creating some of my own recipes to share, along with finding the best recipes from the original cooks themselves to share. Outside of the kitchen, I love to play with my corgi Spud, go kayaking on the river, and drinking a Busch Light with friends and family. .

Recently, I even invested in a few cows of my own. I’ll be spending most of my time on this adventure in the kitchen, which doesn’t bother me one bit. I love cooking and baking, it’s a love of mine. As odd as it sounds, it’s even relaxing just to get a little creative and make something.

I am Renae, your stereotypical free-spirit younger sister. There is not a lot that I love more than a challenge, especially when I can work on it by myself. The pandemic landed me in our parent’s basement with no “real” job as a recent college graduate. Little did I know that would be the best thing

Renae

for my future. I ended up being able to create my job and be my own boss. I design websites (like this one) and do all sorts of digital marketing things. Lord help me if I ever have to have a real boss again. When I am not staring at a computer screen, you will find me watching sports,

shopping for $5,000,0000 houses, or planning a trip. In the future, I hope to hop out of Nebraska and see what else is out there. The Sandhills will always be home and I would love to end up back here. Ranch life was not always my favorite but the older I get the more I appreciate my family’s way of life.

WHY CTK

Columbia Table Kitchen started back in 2021 when we put together two of our favorite things. Anna has always wanted to create a cookbook, and Renae found a love for design in college. After we had talked about this idea for MONTHS, we finally decided it was time to jump in. From the start, we knew wanted to build our cookbook around the amazing farm and ranch wives we were raised around. It has now grown into a food blog, ideas for more products, and a love for food photography.
