FAVORITE CHRISTMAS COOKIES

I have tried SO many cookie recipes. In my Pinterest cookie board I have nearly 250 cookie recipes pinned. There are a few recipes in there that I have went back to over and over again. We have officially entered the season of cookies and baking so I want to share my favorite ones with you. I hope that when you are looking for a recipe some of these will be of help. You can bake any of these recipes with the comfort that they are tried and true.

I have four recipes to share, sugar cookies, M&M cookies, snickerdoodles, and the easiest confetti cookie ever! This is not to say there aren’t hundreds more delicious recipes out there these are just a few of my favorites.

Sugar Cookies can be somewhat finicky to make. They can easily come out to dry or not hold their shape after baking. There is something so defeating about spending all the time to make cookies, wait for them to chill only for them to come out as white blobs when done baking. This recipe is what changed the game for me. Loaded with very soft butter (I mean how could they be bad) allows the dough to come to the perfect consistency that doesn’t require for it to be chilled! It can be tough to get it combined but it is SO worth the work. With no chilling you can immediately roll the dough out and cut shapes. I have had zero problems with these not holding their shape. Snickerdoodles might be my favorite cookie ever. I love the simplicity of them with just that little bit of cinnamon flavor. If you look through any recipes that you have saved I would be shocked if you didn’t have a recipe saved from the blog Cookies and Cups. I have made numerous recipes of her’s and they are all so good. These cookies are my favorite because they are thick and hold their shape when baked. The perfect soft center that a snickerdoodle should have. I could go on and on about these but I’ll let you try them for yourself. M&M cookies are a fan favorite no matter what crowd or age you are serving. Two things that continually make these a repeat recipe for me is that it uses both M&Ms and also chocolate chips. Not only that but the key is to use mini versions of the chocolate and allow every bite to have a ton of chocolate in it. I have started  using mini chocolate chips and M&Ms in my other recipes after making this one. The other thing that sets this recipe apart is the use of instant vanilla pudding in the recipe. It makes them so soft and chewy, if you haven’t tried a cookie recipe with pudding in it I can’t recommend it enough. The Perfect M&M Cookies

Copycat Crumbl Confetti Cookies might be one of the easiest cookies I have ever made. They come together very similarly to my cake mix cookies, but with a few tweaks. They bake into a thick chewy cookie that has an amazing birthday cake flavor. Mix in some Christmas sprinkles and top with frosting you will have the most festive cookie at the party. I will say the two times I have made this recipe I have used the store bought frosting with these and the combination is a perfect birthday cake flavor! If you have ever heard of Crumbl cookies this is supposed to be a copycat recipe. And while I haven't ever had the real thing I can’t imagine that it's better than these. I have been following this blogger for a while and every one of her recipes has me drooling. I highly suggest looking through her cookie recipes, and until Crumbl decides that they can ship to Nebraska I’ll keep making her recipes. Copycat Crumbl Confetti Cookies
