3 Ingredient Sausage Balls

We genuinely love being a part of a big family, and it’s even better than we are close with our families. Both of our parents have multiple siblings and very large extended families spread out all over the country. Unfortunately, it’s getting harder and harder, but we are just happy to be able to get a few of us together every once in a while and enjoy a meal and a few drinks together.

We aren’t huge on family traditions, but the ones we do have are near and dear to us. On Christmas Eve, whoever is around tends to always end up at my great aunt Edna’s house for drinks and snacks that night. It has had a tendency to last well into the night when Santa should already be asleep. One snack that we have every year, and I always look forward to, is Kim’s sausage balls (we really need to find a better name for these). No matter who ends up making these, we always seem to go through pan after pan as soon as they come out of the oven.

These delicious little snacks can be classified into multiple categories. They could fall into a brunch lineup or appetizers at a game day party. Throw these together for any event, and you’ll be sure to get a compliment.

Sausage Balls

2 C. Bisquick Baking Mix

2 C. Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1 1/2 lb. sausage

Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. This can get tricky to mix. I usually end up using my hands to get it all mixed tougher. Form into balls and place on baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until cooked all the way through.
