Pizza Dip
CONTINUING on with the dip series, we have a classic that everyone will love! It’s no secret around here both of us are big fans of pizza. SO the idea of making a dip out of all the best parts of pizza was a no brainer. This is an INSANELY easy and delicious dip that you will want to make over and over.
As you can see in our pictures we went the simple route and just added canadian bacon. But both of us are ok with lots of toppings so a supreme version is on our shortlist of things to make.
PIZZA DIP
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. sour cream, room temperature
Italian seasoning to taste
1 can pizza sauce
1/2 c. shredded parmesan cheese
1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese…or more
Pizza toppings of choice
Crushed Red Pepper flakes, optional
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine sour cream, cream cheese, and italian seasonings. Sour cream is best at room temperature because then it will keep it smooth consistency when warmed up. Spread this mixture into the bottom of 8x8 casserole dish or cast iron skillet. Spread pizza sauce over cream cheese layer. Top with shredded cheese and pizza toppings. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Anna has mentioned on instagram before, but she found an amazing pizza seasoning at Hyvee. She uses it on all pizza flavored things, or in place of italian seasonings when a recipe calls for it. At hyvee it can be found next to the pizza sauce and pizza crusts. Otherwise we are going to include a link to get it on amazon if you are interested at all.
