Ramen Coleslaw Salad

Headed to a bbq This summer for the fourth of july? We dare you to try this ramen salad. Its light, crunchy, aNd veRy easy tO make.

  • RAMEN COLESLAW SALAD

  • 1 bag (14 oz.) Coleslaw

  • Green onion to taste

  • 2 TBSP toasted sesame seeds

  • ½ c. Slivered almonds, toasted

  • 1 pkg ramen noodles, chicken flavor

  • Dressing: 

  • 2 TBSP red wine vinegar

  • 3 TBSP sugar

  • ½ c. oil

  • Seasoning packet from the ramen package. 

  • Crumble up uncooked ramen noodles and combine with coleslaw, almonds, sesame seeds, and onion in a large bowl. In separate bowl whisk together ingredients for dressing. Don’t mix dressing into the salad until ready to serve. Can prep ahead of time and kept in refrigerator until ready.


THis is one of those recipes that I’m sure there are a hundred versions of. It’s also a recipe that when we started making this book, and a list of people we wanted to include, this specific recipe was on that list to ask if our neighbor would share with me. I’m so happy she did, and now i’m finally taking the time to share it with you!
