Layered Taco Bake

everything we love about a soft shell taco baked together for easier serving. top with lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole for even more flavor.

  • LAYERED TACO BAKE

  • 2 lbs. ground beef, cooked and drained

  • 1 pkg taco seasoning

  • 1 can refried beans

  • 4 oz. cream cheese

  • 1/4 c. salsa

  • 2 cups shredded Mexican Cheese

  • 6 tortillas

  • Cook ground beef and drain. While beef is cooking cut up tortillas into small squares. (This just makes it easier to scoop out while serving.) Add beef back to skillet combine with taco seasoning, beans, salsa, and cream cheese and  2 TBSP water. In a greased 9x13 baking dish put a small amount of beef mixture on bottom followed by a layer of tortillas. Another layer of beef, shredded cheese, and tortillas until all ingredients used up. Top with shredded cheese and bake for 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until heated through. Top with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa as desired.
