Rhubarb Delight Dump Cake

rhubarb is such a unique, perfect summer flavor. Pair it with cherries, blueberries, or strawberries for amazing desserts. This is about as easy as it gets for dessert. A few simple ingredients you probably already have on hand layered in a baking dish, no mixing required!

  • RHUBARB DELIGHT DUMP CAKE

  • 4 c. rhubarb, chopped into 1/4 in pieces

    1 c. sugar

    3 oz. box strawberry or cherry jello

    1 box white or yellow cake mix

    1 cup water

    1/2 c. melted butter


    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In greased 9x13 pan evenly spread rhubarb, top with sugar, followed by jello. Do not mix! Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the top. Pour water over cake mix, then melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes, until top is golden brown.

    *As tempting as it is to dig right in. The jello won't be set up and will be watery right away, allow to cool for a couple hours so it sets up. Or stick it in the fridge to cool quicker! Can be warmed up for just a few seconds and served with ice cream.
